The Keystone Wood Products Association (KWPA) strives to strengthen and expand the base of lumber and wood products manufacturers in the Central Pennsylvania region in order to maintain and enhance the industry’s competitive position in today’s global economy. As a Hardwood Utilization Group (HUG), KWPA works closely with the Pennsylvania Hardwood Development Council (HDC), the Pennsylvania Forest Products Association (PFPA) and its sister HUGS—Allegheny Hardwood Utilization Group (AHUG) and Northern Tier Hardwood Association (NTHA) to support the industry via, education, workforce development, and promotion.

We are excited to welcome back Reinvented, Inc. and their Princesses with Powertools!
Guests will learn to use a power drill from women engineers dressed as princesses, and will leave with a take-away souvenir constellation projector they made themselves.

They will be at the Mini Maker Faire selling greeting card sets made by the preschool children, and original earrings made by Julia. The card proceeds will be donated to a place decided upon by the preschool children.

A Maker Faire favorite is back this year! Make sure to stop by the Art Cart, and make your own craft using recycled materials!
The Exchange is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to all communities throughout our region. From day camps and childcare centers to senior centers and nursing homes, as well as family-friendly festivals including last year’s Maker Faire at The Children’s Museum. Their facilitators bring projects in many media, including painting and drawing, cut-out paper, and sculpture, often using recycled materials. They tailor the projects to any age group and any size group. Examples of these hands-on art projects will be available for Faire-goers to enjoy. Returning this year is Artwork by Keith Renard! A little bit about this Maker:
“My name is Keith Renard, born and raised in Scranton, PA. I am the owner of Artwork by Keith Renard. I love creating one-of-a-kind works of art ranging from Pet Portraits, Hand Painted Teabags. I also create custom pieces of art like guitar pics to large Murals. and design visual elements from cube displays to window displays to large Santa and Easter sets in malls. I use watercolor, sharpie markers, acrylic paint, colored pencil to create my designs. I was the featured artist at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA during its run of Hunchback of Notre Dame. Many of my pieces are on display in public buildings. Scranton Courthouse, Northern light Espresso Bar and Café. I have always had a creative talent and enjoyed creating things that make people happy.”
