The Exchange is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to all communities throughout our region. From day camps and childcare centers to senior centers and nursing homes, as well as family-friendly festivals including last year’s Maker Faire at The Children’s Museum. Their facilitators bring projects in many media, including painting and drawing, cut-out paper, and sculpture, often using recycled materials. They tailor the projects to any age group and any size group. Examples of these hands-on art projects will be available for Faire-goers to enjoy.

What is the Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire?
We get that question a lot!
Check out the video that help explain THE GREATEST SHOW AND TELL ON EARTH!

Phil was born at an early age. He has been playing with electronics and computers starting at age 8. He has also been known to fly, build airplanes, teach others how to fly, and skydive. When not aviating or building things with his children he teaches cybersecurity and digital forensics at Bloomsburg University.

This very popular Maker is back for 2018!
The Home Depot Kids Workshop!
Volunteers from the Bloomsburg Home Depot will be on hand to run a Kid’s Workshop!
Here’s the description for The Home Depot’s website:
Home Depot’s FREE Kids Workshops offer fun and useful projects like building toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, birdhouses, Mother’s Day gifts, or any number of other cool projects.
The workshops are great for 5- to 12-year-olds, and they teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety and at the same time they help to instill a sense of accomplishment. If your little builder is under 5, that’s fine, too, but you’ll need to provide a little more supervision.
Visit this booth and see what project the Makers at The Home Depot has for you!
