A Maker Faire favorite is back this year! Make sure to stop by the Art Cart, and make your own craft using recycled materials in honor of earth day!
The Exchange is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to all communities throughout our region. From day camps and childcare centers to senior centers and nursing homes, as well as family-friendly festivals including last year’s Maker Faire at The Children’s Museum. Their facilitators bring projects in many media, including painting and drawing, cut-out paper, and sculpture, often using recycled materials. They tailor the projects to any age group and any size group. Examples of these hands-on art projects will be available for Faire-goers to enjoy. Learn more about The Exchange and the Art Cart online.
This year’s Maker Faire will be held Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 am-4 pm. Admission to this all-day event is free! There will be a large variety of Making activities, workshops, presentations, performances, crafters, the Museum’s 50+ exhibits, and the Bloomsburg YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day.
