New at the 2022 Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire is Cartwright Reed
Stop by this booth to see mushbots. These are IoT devices that use pods of organic mycelium substrate to make food and medicine in your home. Think of them as 3D printers, except instead of plastic filament, growbots use mycelium to make things. Besides food and medicine, mycelium can be used to build structures, remediate pollution, and make consumer goods. Stop by to see demonstrations of a working mushbot, displaying sensor data and growing information

This year’s Maker Faire will be held Saturday, April 23rd, from 10 am-4 pm. Admission to this all-day event is free! There will be a large variety of Making activities, workshops, presentations, performances, crafters, the Museum’s 50+ exhibits, and the Bloomsburg YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day.
