Kayla is always using her imagination and creating stories in her mind. A few make it to paper, but the Secret of the Guardian Forest made it to completion. Kayla is currently working on a sequel and plans on there being at least three books in the series.
Kayla is a 15 year old local published author. Her novel, The Secret of the Guardian Forest, was published in October of 2021. It is geared toward tweens, but is easily enjoyed by all ages. We will be bringing her books to sell. Kayla is open to talking to others about her process and answer questions for young authors. Information about Bloomsburg’s Maker Faire:
This year’s Maker Faire will be held Saturday, April 23rd, from 10 am-4 pm. Admission to this all-day event is free! There will be a large variety of Making activities, workshops, presentations, performances, crafters, the Museum’s 50+ exhibits, and the Bloomsburg YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day.
