In the months leading up to the 2022 Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire, we will be featuring the Makers that will be appearing at the Faire!

Today’s Feature: The Montgomery Area School District Gifted Class

The Montgomery Area School District Gifted Class, grades 7-12, will be showcasing how to create homemade catapults from household items like popsicle sticks, rubber bands, glue, tape, cardboard, and wood. There will be items available for participants to create their own to take home, and to test out our catapults as well!

The exhibit will have a build-your-own catapult section, but will also have a large catapult as well. View a student’s mechanical wings that she created. She will show you how to build your own wings and propulsion items at home.
