In the weeks leading up to the 2019 Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire, we will be profiling the Makers that are appearing at the Faire!

Meet Light Street Maple Syrup!

Come and enjoy free samples of “Lightstreet Maple Syrup.” We will demonstrate the complete process of boiling sap down to maple syrup, as well as filtering and bottling. Finished 12 oz. bottles will also be offered for sale.

Evan, Thomas and Johnny Huckans are delighted to share their experiences making maple syrup from their backyard. Evan and Thomas are in the seventh and ninth grade at Central Columbia. Johnny is a physics professor at Bloomsburg University.

This year’s Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10am-4pm on the grounds of the Children’s Museum right in the heart of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

Admission to this all-day event is FREE. There will be a large variety of Making activities, workshops, presentations, performances, crafters and the Museum’s 50+ exhibits.
