New this year!
The Stirling engine is a heat engine invented by Robert Stirling in 1816. The Stirling engine is very different and much more efficient than a gas or diesel combustion engine. The Stirling Engine uses the properties of gasses. Gasses expand when heated and contract when cooled. If the gas is in a fixed volume, pressure will build up when heated and decrease when cooled. This change in pressure will move a piston to drive the motor.
